Eight teams from accross Ayrshire pitched their Go-Karting skills against our very own West Fm Team on Monday 15th November at West Coast Karts in Stevenston in a bid to lift the Cash for Kids Go-Karting Trophy, sponsored by Kerr and Smith.
And the winners were...Team RacerRabbit Ecosse who fought to the bitter end and just pipped J T Mechanical to the post!!!! The guys from AMEY managed to pull it back and secure their place on the podium by finishing third - and we couldn't miss them in thier bright orange overalls!
And lets not forget the team at the other end of the table who walked away with the 'wooden spoon' for finishing last - Team Bon Marche from Irvine! They may have been last but what they lacked in speed they made up for in energy and enthusiasm!

Brownings the Bakers may not have lifted any trophies but they certainly lifted the spirits of the teams by providing the buffet for the event.
A huge and thank you to everyone who got involved and helped us to raise £3400, and the money is still coming in! Special thanks to the guys from JT Mechanical who raised over £1000!
