Cash for Kids benefits from the inaugural North Ayrshire Provost's Civic Pride Awards
Cash for Kids was one of the charity beneficiaries from the inaugrual North Ayrshire Provost's Civic Pride Awards. The awards were hosted by our very own Jen McGinlay on June 17th at Seamill Hydro and recognised North Ayrshire's local champions in the following categories:
Community Group - Oasis New Start Duke of Edinburgh Award Group
Citizen of the Year - Jim Montgomerie
Young Citizen of the Year (Under 25) - Lisa Heenan
Arts and Culture - Art in Mind
Sports Award - Jim Heaney
Provost Pat McPhee said "Cash for Kids has helped bring joy to so many vulnerable children and families in North Ayrshire. I have seen first hand the huge impact these relatively small grants can have on children and am thrilled that the Provost's Civic Pride Awards can help support such a worthy cause".
The event raised an amazing £9,200 for Cash for Kids thanks to the generosity of local businesses and local people.
