Cash For Kids Has Grown

We’ve joined up with 19 other radio station charities across the UK, under the ‘Cash for Kids’ banner, in a bid to increase our funding for local communities by nearly £2.5 million this year!

An additional benefit is the news that Sir Tom Hunter has given his backing to the new group name and has pledged £4 million over the next ten years. The cash will be used to underwrite 50% of the running costs for the charities including this one here in South West Scotland, encompassing ourselves and our sister station Radio Clyde in Glasgow, which raised £1.5 million in 2007/08 to help sick and underprivileged local children.

By having a nationally recognized brand with UK wide reach and local impact we hope we can sign up many other businesses to support our charity to make a positive impact on even more local children
